This is the Sanskrit Mahavastu: a lengthy work on Buddhist teachings and narratives belonging to the school of early Buddhism (Mahasanghika). This edition only includes those metrical verses occuring in the various stories and Jatakas, as well as the corresponding English translation by J. J. Jones.

Verse 66.2

सर्वसत्वा मरिष्यन्ति मरणान्तं हि जीवितं ।
यथाकर्म गमिष्यन्ति पुण्यपापफलोपगाः ॥ २ ॥

sarvasatvā mariṣyanti maraṇāntaṃ hi jīvitaṃ |
yathākarma gamiṣyanti puṇyapāpaphalopagāḥ || 2 ||

All beings are doomed to die, for life has death as its end. They will pass on in accordance with their karma, reaping the reward of virtue or of sin. (2)
