This is the Sanskrit Mahavastu: a lengthy work on Buddhist teachings and narratives belonging to the school of early Buddhism (Mahasanghika). This edition only includes those metrical verses occuring in the various stories and Jatakas, as well as the corresponding English translation by J. J. Jones.

Verse 19.74

ये ते दुष्करकर्तारः ये ते पूर्वोपकारिणः ।
मैत्रचित्ता आपन्नेषु तेषु त्वं वधम् इच्छसि ॥ ७४ ॥

ye te duṣkarakartāraḥ ye te pūrvopakāriṇaḥ |
maitracittā āpanneṣu teṣu tvaṃ vadham icchasi || 74 ||

“Now that misfortunes have come upon them, you wish the death of those who in days gone by succoured you with loving hearts in all your hardships. (74)
