The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 7.214.5

तानि दिव्यानि पुष्पाणि यथास्थानमधःस्थिताः ।
वसिष्ठाय नमस्कृत्वा सभ्याः संशोकितां जहुः ॥ ५ ॥

tāni divyāni puṣpāṇi yathāsthānamadhaḥsthitāḥ |
vasiṣṭhāya namaskṛtvā sabhyāḥ saṃśokitāṃ jahuḥ || 5 ||

The assembly seated in their order, took hold of handfuls of these heavenly flowers; and poured them upon Vasishtha with their obeisance, and cast away all their earthly cares and woes with those celestial offerings to the sage.
