महाप्रलयसंपत्तावादिसर्गः पुनः किल ।
परस्मात्कारणाभावे कुतो दृश्यस्य संभवः ॥ ४ ॥

mahāpralayasaṃpattāvādisargaḥ punaḥ kila |
parasmātkāraṇābhāve kuto dṛśyasya saṃbhavaḥ || 4 ||

Before creation there was nothing, how then could this something appear from that nothing; the latter having no material cause, is no material or visible thing.
