The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

श्रीवसिष्ठ उवाच ।
चिद्व्योमैकान्तनिष्ठत्वात्प्रयत्नेन विना सुखम् ।
न वेत्ति शुद्धबोधात्मा यः स विश्रान्त उच्यते ॥ ६ ॥

śrīvasiṣṭha uvāca |
cidvyomaikāntaniṣṭhatvātprayatnena vinā sukham |
na vetti śuddhabodhātmā yaḥ sa viśrānta ucyate || 6 ||

Vasishtha replied:—We call him the self reposed, who rests in his vacuous intellect only; and whose soul derives a spontaneous delight from the purity of his understanding, such as it finds in nothing and no where besides.
