The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

जडकल्लोलबहुला कलुषोल्लासफेनिला ।
चक्रावर्ताक्षयमयी प्रावृषीव तरङ्गिणी ॥ १९ ॥

jaḍakallolabahulā kaluṣollāsaphenilā |
cakrāvartākṣayamayī prāvṛṣīva taraṅgiṇī || 19 ||

The world resembles a rainy river, with all its orbs appearing as the countless waves of water, with the dirty and foaming froths floating over it; and the fearful eddies and whirlpools, resembling the revolving planetary bodies.
