The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

शुष्का भगवती देहं तत्तदा भक्षयिष्यति ।
समातृमण्डला तेन निर्दोषा भूर्भविष्यति ॥ ४९ ॥

śuṣkā bhagavatī dehaṃ tattadā bhakṣayiṣyati |
samātṛmaṇḍalā tena nirdoṣā bhūrbhaviṣyati || 49 ||

Then will the dry and starved goddess Kali, with her hungry host of Matris and furies, devour thy prostrate body, and restore the earth to its purity, by clearing it of its nuisance.
