The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

लब्धवानसि नो तस्माद्धेतोर्देहद्वयं मुने ।
अनन्ते स्वप्नसंसारजाग्रतीहावतिष्ठसे ॥ ८ ॥

labdhavānasi no tasmāddhetordehadvayaṃ mune |
anante svapnasaṃsārajāgratīhāvatiṣṭhase || 8 ||

It is on account of this, O sage, that you could not find out those two bodies; and wandered about in this endless world of dreams, as if you were in your waking state.
