The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

शूरशातितशीरार्धशिरःकरखुरोरुकम् ।
कबन्धदोर्द्रुमस्पन्दवनीकृतनभस्तलम् ॥ २२ ॥

śūraśātitaśīrārdhaśiraḥkarakhurorukam |
kabandhadordrumaspandavanīkṛtanabhastalam || 22 ||

The bravos were tearing the arteries of the slain, and breaking asunder their arms, heads and thighs; while the uplifted and shaking arms of the Kabandhas, made a moving forest in the air.
