The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

भटकोलाहलोल्लासहृद्भङ्गमृतपामरम् ।
रजःपटलशुभ्राभ्रकृतद्युपथवारणम् ॥ ७ ॥

bhaṭakolāhalollāsahṛdbhaṅgamṛtapāmaram |
rajaḥpaṭalaśubhrābhrakṛtadyupathavāraṇam || 7 ||

The loud shouts and cries of the combatants, depressed the spirits of dastardly cowards; and the hoary clouds of dust flying in the air, appeared as elephants intercepting the paths of the midway skies.
