The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 7.77.17

ब्रह्माण्डकुड्यक्रोडाग्रकुट्टकैः कटुटांकृतैः ।
कल्पाभ्रविटपास्फोटैर्घट्टितैकार्णवारटि ॥ १७ ॥

brahmāṇḍakuḍyakroḍāgrakuṭṭakaiḥ kaṭuṭāṃkṛtaiḥ |
kalpābhraviṭapāsphoṭairghaṭṭitaikārṇavāraṭi || 17 ||

The diluvian cloud then broke asunder the vault of heaven, and split the bosom of the sky with its loud rattling; and then clapped together its oaklike hands, to see the universal ocean which it had made.
