Verse 7.29.9

जनेषु करुणार्हेषु धैर्यं कुरु महात्मसु ।
आत्माराममना मौनी वासनाक्रान्तमूढवत् ॥ ९ ॥

janeṣu karuṇārheṣu dhairyaṃ kuru mahātmasu |
ātmārāmamanā maunī vāsanākrāntamūḍhavat || 9 ||

Be tolerant, O Rama, towards the ignorant people, that are led away by their desires and deserve thy pity; be reverent of high-minded men, and delighted in thyself by observing the taciturnity of thy speech, and without being misled by thy desires like the ignorant mob.
