मुदितो भव हर्षेषु दुःखेषु भव दुःखितः ।
करुणां कुरु दीनेषु भव वीरेषु वीर्यवान् ॥ १० ॥

mudito bhava harṣeṣu duḥkheṣu bhava duḥkhitaḥ |
karuṇāṃ kuru dīneṣu bhava vīreṣu vīryavān || 10 ||

Congratulate with joy and sympathise with sorrow, (whether of thyself or others); pity the sorrows of the poor, and be valiant among the brave.
