परिपूज्याभिवाद्यैनं समालिङ्गितपुत्रकम् ।
अपृच्छद्वाक्पतिं भूयः स कचः कान्तया गिरा ॥ १३ ॥

paripūjyābhivādyainaṃ samāliṅgitaputrakam |
apṛcchadvākpatiṃ bhūyaḥ sa kacaḥ kāntayā girā || 13 ||

The son rose and did homage to his venerable father, who embraced him in his arms and to his breast; and then bespoke to his father—the lord of speech, in words that flowed like honey from his lips.
