The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

ज्वलनं ज्वालितज्वालं दक्षिणस्थं प्रदक्षिणम् ।
पूर्वाभिमुखमेवाग्नेरग्रे पल्लवविष्टरे ॥ ५५ ॥

jvalanaṃ jvālitajvālaṃ dakṣiṇasthaṃ pradakṣiṇam |
pūrvābhimukhamevāgneragre pallavaviṣṭare || 55 ||

They turned round the flaming fire by the right hand side, and then sat on seats of leaves with their faces turned towards the east.
