The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

बभूवामीलितमनोलोचनः शान्तवाङ्मुनिः ।
शिलातलादिवोत्कीर्णो निस्पन्दावयवाकृतिः ॥ २ ॥

babhūvāmīlitamanolocanaḥ śāntavāṅmuniḥ |
śilātalādivotkīrṇo nispandāvayavākṛtiḥ || 2 ||

He continued with his intent-mind and fixed eyes and quite speechless all the while, and resembled the figure of a silent sage, and a carved statue without its motion and sensation.
