The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 6.44.5

यदि तत्पदमाप्तोऽसि कदाचित्कालपर्ययात् ।
तदहंभावनारूपे न मङ्क्तव्यं त्वया पुनः ॥ ५ ॥

yadi tatpadamāpto'si kadācitkālaparyayāt |
tadahaṃbhāvanārūpe na maṅktavyaṃ tvayā punaḥ || 5 ||

If you have arrived to that high state (of knowing the universality of the soul); then be careful for the future, and merge yourself no more in the narrow pit of your personality.
