The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

नास्तमेति न चोदेति सम्यगालोकनान्मनः ।
निर्णीय सर्वभावानामसत्त्वं सत्त्वमेव च ॥ ५१ ॥

nāstameti na codeti samyagālokanānmanaḥ |
nirṇīya sarvabhāvānāmasattvaṃ sattvameva ca || 51 ||

That nothing rises or sets or appears or disappears in this world, is what the mind perceives by its right discernment of things; and by its investigation into the true and apparent natures of all.
