The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 6.1.42

संसारोत्तरणोपायं वसिष्ठवदनेरितम् ।
यथावदेकाग्रधियश्चिन्तयामासुरादृताः ॥ ४२ ॥

saṃsārottaraṇopāyaṃ vasiṣṭhavadaneritam |
yathāvadekāgradhiyaścintayāmāsurādṛtāḥ || 42 ||

They lay thinking intensely in themselves, on the admonitions of the sage Vasishtha; on the mode of their passing over the boisterous gulf of this world, by means of this spiritual knowledge.
