223,437 words | ISBN-10: 8171101519

The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 5.70.28

तत्रस्थो ज्ञः प्रमुदितः परमानन्दघूर्णितः ।
लीलामिवेमां रचनां सदा समनुपश्यति ॥ २८ ॥

tatrastho jñaḥ pramuditaḥ paramānandaghūrṇitaḥ |
līlāmivemāṃ racanāṃ sadā samanupaśyati || 28 ||

In this state, the gnostic is in full rapture, and quite giddy with inward delight. He looks upon the whole creation as an exhibition of play and pageantry.
