The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

निर्विकल्पसमाध्यर्थं व्यवसायमुपाददे ।
स्वभावं स्वच्छतां नेतुं शरत्काल इवामलम् ॥ २९ ॥

nirvikalpasamādhyarthaṃ vyavasāyamupādade |
svabhāvaṃ svacchatāṃ netuṃ śaratkāla ivāmalam || 29 ||

He strove to practise an unshaken hibernation (samadhi), and wanted to make himself appear as translucent, as the clear autumnal sky and air.
