The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

भूतप्राणानिलं तेन गन्धवाहेन तेन च ।
निविशन्ति शरीरेषु जीवा गच्छन्ति वीर्यताम् ॥ ८ ॥

bhūtaprāṇānilaṃ tena gandhavāhena tena ca |
niviśanti śarīreṣu jīvā gacchanti vīryatām || 8 ||

Then the air breathes the vital breath in these bodies; which infuses life and vigour in them.
