The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 4.35.68

भवत्यपगताक्षेपः सर्वगः सर्वनायकः ।
निर्वासनः शान्तमनाः स्वदेहनगरेश्वरः ॥ ६८ ॥

bhavatyapagatākṣepaḥ sarvagaḥ sarvanāyakaḥ |
nirvāsanaḥ śāntamanāḥ svadehanagareśvaraḥ || 68 ||

The mind then being purged of its selfishness, turns to universal benevolence and philanthropy; and being quite calm in itself without any desire of its own, it reigns as lord over the city of its body.
