The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 4.31.7

अहङ्कारमतो राम मार्जयान्तः प्रयत्नतः ।
अहं न किंचिदेवेति भावयित्वा सुखी भव ॥ ७ ॥

ahaṅkāramato rāma mārjayāntaḥ prayatnataḥ |
ahaṃ na kiṃcideveti bhāvayitvā sukhī bhava || 7 ||

Therefore, O Rama! be diligent to wipe off from thy heart the sense of thy egoism, and try to be happy by thinking always of the nullity of thyself.
