The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

शाल्मल्युग्रदृढापातकटत्कण्टकसंकटाः ।
सुशिलाफलकास्फालशतधाशीर्णमस्तकाः ॥ ३३ ॥

śālmalyugradṛḍhāpātakaṭatkaṇṭakasaṃkaṭāḥ |
suśilāphalakāsphālaśatadhāśīrṇamastakāḥ || 33 ||

Their heads which were covered with hard brazen and pointed coronets, were broken by slabs of stone, which were pelted upon them from the hands of the gods.
