Verse 4.8.7

बालहेमलताजालजटालासु नदीषु च ।
भ्रान्तमुन्मत्तनागेन मैरवीष्वज्जिनीष्विव ॥ ७ ॥

bhrāntamunmattanāgena mairavīṣvajjinīṣviva || 7 ||

The tender weeds and willows growing as golden shrubberies, and tangled bushes in the beach of the river, were trampled under the legs of heated elephants, as when they infest the lotus lakes on Meru.
