Verse 3.121.30

संवेदनेतरा भाति वीचिर्वा जलसंगतिः ।
भूतभव्यभविष्यस्था तरुबीजे तरुर्यथा ॥ ३० ॥

saṃvedanetarā bhāti vīcirvā jalasaṃgatiḥ |
bhūtabhavyabhaviṣyasthā tarubīje taruryathā || 30 ||

One idea embraces many others also under it, as those of the waves and current, are contained under that of water. And so one thought is associated by others relating its past, present and future conditions of being; as the thought of a seed accompanies the thoughts of its past and future states and its fruits and flowers of the tree.
