अविवेकामयोन्नद्धं मनो विविधवृत्तिमत् ।
नानाकारविहारेण परिभ्रमति चक्रवत् ॥ २१ ॥

avivekāmayonnaddhaṃ mano vividhavṛttimat |
nānākāravihāreṇa paribhramati cakravat || 21 ||

The mind being fast bound to its ignorance, exerts its faculties in various ways, and turns round like a wheel in its various pursuits and employments.
