The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

त्वादृशस्य च लोकस्य मुग्धलोकाभिघातिनः ।
निग्रहार्थं प्रवृत्तिर्मे सा च संपत्तिमेत्यलम् ॥ १३ ॥

tvādṛśasya ca lokasya mugdhalokābhighātinaḥ |
nigrahārthaṃ pravṛttirme sā ca saṃpattimetyalam || 13 ||

It is my business and professed duty, to persecute such wicked beings as thyself, that infest our ignorant subjects in this manner, and this is all that I have to tell thee and do in this place.
