The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 3.82.12

शूलादि हृदये नृणां न शाम्यति यदौषधैः ।
ततोऽहं त्वद्विधप्रोक्तमन्त्रार्थेन विनिर्गतः ॥ १२ ॥

śūlādi hṛdaye nṛṇāṃ na śāmyati yadauṣadhaiḥ |
tato'haṃ tvadvidhaproktamantrārthena vinirgataḥ || 12 ||

This choleric pain is not removed from the hearts of men by any medicine, so I have come out in search of the mantra revealed to her for its cure.
