The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 3.26.17

तालीतमालखण्डानां शुष्काणां शुचिशोचिषाम् ।
आलोकनामृतासेकैर्जनयद्बालपल्लवान् ॥ १७ ॥

tālītamālakhaṇḍānāṃ śuṣkāṇāṃ śuciśociṣām |
ālokanāmṛtāsekairjanayadbālapallavān || 17 ||

Their appearance seemed to sprinkle ambrosial dews all around, and made the dry withered and brown boughs of tamala trees, to vegetate anew in tender sprouts and leaflets.
