The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 3.24.20

निकटातपदग्धाल्पसिद्धसिद्धोज्झितास्पदम् ।
अर्काश्वमुखवातास्तदग्धमुग्धविमानकम् ॥ २० ॥

nikaṭātapadagdhālpasiddhasiddhojjhitāspadam |
arkāśvamukhavātāstadagdhamugdhavimānakam || 20 ||

There the half burnt Siddhas, were flying from their burning cars under the solar rays, by reason of their nearness to the Sun; and the solar embers were flung afar by the breath of the nostrils of his horses.
