The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

श्रीराम उवाच ।
सच्चेन्न शाम्यत्येवेदं नाभावो विद्यते सतः ।
असत्तां च न विद्मोऽस्मिन्दृश्ये दोषप्रदायिनि ॥ ५९ ॥

śrīrāma uvāca |
saccenna śāmyatyevedaṃ nābhāvo vidyate sataḥ |
asattāṃ ca na vidmo'smindṛśye doṣapradāyini || 59 ||

Rama rejoined:—If the perception of entity is not to be put down, nor an entity become a non-entity nor when I cannot view the visibles (which are the causes of our error), as non-entities;
