The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

प्रेरयँल्लीलयार्केन्दू क्रीडतीव नभस्तले ।
निक्षिप्तलीलायुगलो निजे बाल इवाङ्गणे ॥ २१ ॥

prerayaṃllīlayārkendū krīḍatīva nabhastale |
nikṣiptalīlāyugalo nije bāla ivāṅgaṇe || 21 ||

As boys with their balls play about their play-ground, so does time in his arena of the sky, play with his two balls of the sun and moon.
