The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

जर्जरीकृतसर्वाङ्गी जरा जरठरूपिणी ।
विरूपतां नयत्याशु देहं विषलवो यथा ॥ ३ ॥

jarjarīkṛtasarvāṅgī jarā jaraṭharūpiṇī |
virūpatāṃ nayatyāśu dehaṃ viṣalavo yathā || 3 ||

The old man with his limbs slackened and worn out by age, and his body weakened by infirmity, is treated by women as a useless beast.
