The English translation of the Sri Bhakti-rasamrta-sindhu verse 3.3.24; a medieval era Sanskrit book, written by Rupa Goswami (fl. 15th century) which represents a devotional (bhakti) masterpiece. In this work Goswami describes the nature and different forms of pure love (rasa) as well as various other topics on Vaishnavism and devotion.

एषां सख्यं, यथा —
धुन्वन् धावसि मण्डलाग्रम् अमलं त्वं मण्डलीभद्र किं
गुर्वीं नार्य गदां गृहाण विजय क्षोभं वृथा मा कृथाः ।
शक्तिं न क्षिप भद्रवर्धन पुरो गोवर्धनं गाहते
गर्जन्न् एष घनो बली न तु बलीवर्दाकृतिर् दानवः ॥३.३.२४॥

eṣāṃ sakhyaṃ, yathā —
dhunvan dhāvasi maṇḍalāgram amalaṃ tvaṃ maṇḍalībhadra kiṃ
gurvīṃ nārya gadāṃ gṛhāṇa vijaya kṣobhaṃ vṛthā mā kṛthāḥ |
śaktiṃ na kṣipa bhadravardhana puro govardhanaṃ gāhate
garjann eṣa ghano balī na tu balīvardākṛtir dānavaḥ
||3.3.24||

English translation

Their friendship:
“O Maṇḍalībhadra! Why are you running around swinging that sword? O respectable Balarāma! Don’t take up that heavy club. Vijaya! Do not uselessly become agitated. Bhadravardhana! Do not throw your strength around. What is approaching Govardhana and making a powerful roaring sound is not the powerful demon Ariṣṭāsura with a bull shape, but only a cloud.”
