The English translation of the Sri Bhakti-rasamrta-sindhu verse 2.1.118; a medieval era Sanskrit book, written by Rupa Goswami (fl. 15th century) which represents a devotional (bhakti) masterpiece. In this work Goswami describes the nature and different forms of pure love (rasa) as well as various other topics on Vaishnavism and devotion.

तत्र आद्यो —
स्वीकुर्वन्न् अपि नितरां यशः-प्रियत्वं
कंसारिर् मगध-पतेर् वध-प्रसिद्धाम् ।
भीमाय स्वयम् अतुलाम् अदत्त कीर्तिं
किं लोकोत्तर-गुण-शालिनाम् अपेक्ष्यम् ॥२.१.११८॥

tatra ādyo —
svīkurvann api nitarāṃ yaśaḥ-priyatvaṃ
kaṃsārir magadha-pater vadha-prasiddhām |
bhīmāya svayam atulām adatta kīrtiṃ
kiṃ lokottara-guṇa-śālinām apekṣyam
||2.1.118||

English translation

The fully satisfied person is illustrated in the following:
“Though Kṛṣṇa is fond of fame, He gave that incomparable fame to Bhīma in the killing of Jarāsandha. What remains to be desired by those of superior character?”
