The English translation of the Sri Bhakti-rasamrta-sindhu verse 2.1.54; a medieval era Sanskrit book, written by Rupa Goswami (fl. 15th century) which represents a devotional (bhakti) masterpiece. In this work Goswami describes the nature and different forms of pure love (rasa) as well as various other topics on Vaishnavism and devotion.

यथा वा —
अष्टानां दनुजभिद्-अङ्ग-पङ्कजानाम्
एकस्मिन् कथम् अपि यत्र बल्लवीनाम् ।
लोलाक्षि-भ्रमर-ततिः पपात तस्मान्
नोत्थातुं द्युति-मधु-पङ्किलात् क्षमासीत् ॥२.१.५४॥

yathā vā —
aṣṭānāṃ danujabhid-aṅga-paṅkajānām
ekasmin katham api yatra ballavīnām |
lolākṣi-bhramara-tatiḥ papāta tasmān
notthātuṃ dyuti-madhu-paṅkilāt kṣamāsīt
||2.1.54||

English translation

Or another example:
“If the bee-like eyes of the gopīs alight upon one of the eight lotus-like bodily parts of Kṛṣṇa, the enemy of the Dānavas, they will not be able to rise from the thick honey of His beauty.”
