Rig Veda 10.22.15

पिबा॑पि॒बेदि॑न्द्र शूर॒ सोमं॒ मा रि॑षण्यो वसवान॒ वसु॒: सन् । उ॒त त्रा॑यस्व गृण॒तो म॒घोनो॑ म॒हश्च॑ रा॒यो रे॒वत॑स्कृधी नः ॥
पिबापिबेदिन्द्र शूर सोमं मा रिषण्यो वसवान वसुः सन् । उत त्रायस्व गृणतो मघोनो महश्च रायो रेवतस्कृधी नः ॥
pibā-pibed indra śūra somam mā riṣaṇyo vasavāna vasuḥ san | uta trāyasva gṛṇato maghono mahaś ca rāyo revatas kṛdhī naḥ ||

English translation:

“Drink, hero Indra, drink the Soma; being excellent, harm (us) not, possessor of opulence; preservethose who praise you, and are affluent (in offerings), and render us rich with great riches.”

Commentary by Sāyaṇa: Ṛgveda-bhāṣya

Being excellent: i.e., itis not just that we should be punished for any defect in our worship of you who are excellent
