म॒क्षू ता त॑ इन्द्र दा॒नाप्न॑स आक्षा॒णे शू॑र वज्रिवः । यद्ध॒ शुष्ण॑स्य द॒म्भयो॑ जा॒तं विश्वं॑ स॒याव॑भिः ॥
मक्षू ता त इन्द्र दानाप्नस आक्षाणे शूर वज्रिवः । यद्ध शुष्णस्य दम्भयो जातं विश्वं सयावभिः ॥
makṣū tā ta indra dānāpnasa ākṣāṇe śūra vajrivaḥ | yad dha śuṣṇasya dambhayo jātaṃ viśvaṃ sayāvabhiḥ ||
English translation:
“Hero, Indra, (your worshippers glorify) those prompt exploits performed by you in battle, (by you whoare) ever bountiful, when with your associate (Maruts) you destroyed the whole race o Śuṣṇa.”
