ब॒ह्वी॒नां पि॒ता ब॒हुर॑स्य पु॒त्रश्चि॒श्चा कृ॑णोति॒ सम॑नाव॒गत्य॑ । इ॒षु॒धिः सङ्का॒: पृत॑नाश्च॒ सर्वा॑: पृ॒ष्ठे निन॑द्धो जयति॒ प्रसू॑तः ॥
बह्वीनां पिता बहुरस्य पुत्रश्चिश्चा कृणोति समनावगत्य । इषुधिः सङ्काः पृतनाश्च सर्वाः पृष्ठे निनद्धो जयति प्रसूतः ॥
bahvīnām pitā bahur asya putraś ciścā kṛṇoti samanāvagatya | iṣudhiḥ saṅkāḥ pṛtanāś ca sarvāḥ pṛṣṭhe ninaddho jayati prasūtaḥ ||

English translation:

“The quiver, the parent of many, of whom many are the sons, clangs as it enters into the battle; slung at the back (of the warrior), prolific (of its shafts), it overcomes all shouting hosts.”
