आ नो॑ भर॒ वृष॑णं॒ शुष्म॑मिन्द्र धन॒स्पृतं॑ शूशु॒वांसं॑ सु॒दक्ष॑म् । येन॒ वंसा॑म॒ पृत॑नासु॒ शत्रू॒न्तवो॒तिभि॑रु॒त जा॒मीँरजा॑मीन् ॥
आ नो भर वृषणं शुष्ममिन्द्र धनस्पृतं शूशुवांसं सुदक्षम् । येन वंसाम पृतनासु शत्रून्तवोतिभिरुत जामीँरजामीन् ॥
ā no bhara vṛṣaṇaṃ śuṣmam indra dhanaspṛtaṃ śūśuvāṃsaṃ sudakṣam | yena vaṃsāma pṛtanāsu śatrūn tavotibhir uta jāmīm̐r ajāmīn ||
English translation:
“Bestow upon us, Indra, vigorous strenght, the realizer of wealth, great and propitious, wherewith, thorugh your protection, we may destroy our enemies in battles, whether they be kinsmen or strangers.”
