अ॒ग्निर॒प्सामृ॑ती॒षहं॑ वी॒रं द॑दाति॒ सत्प॑तिम् । यस्य॒ त्रस॑न्ति॒ शव॑सः सं॒चक्षि॒ शत्र॑वो भि॒या ॥
अग्निरप्सामृतीषहं वीरं ददाति सत्पतिम् । यस्य त्रसन्ति शवसः संचक्षि शत्रवो भिया ॥
agnir apsām ṛtīṣahaṃ vīraṃ dadāti satpatim | yasya trasanti śavasaḥ saṃcakṣi śatravo bhiyā ||
English translation:
“Agni bestows (upon his worshippers) a male descendant, (the performer of good) works, the subduer of foes, the protector of the virtuous, at whose appearance his enemies tremble through fear of his prowess.”
