सखा॒ सख्ये॑ अपच॒त्तूय॑म॒ग्निर॒स्य क्रत्वा॑ महि॒षा त्री श॒तानि॑ । त्री सा॒कमिन्द्रो॒ मनु॑ष॒: सरां॑सि सु॒तं पि॑बद्वृत्र॒हत्या॑य॒ सोम॑म् ॥
सखा सख्ये अपचत्तूयमग्निरस्य क्रत्वा महिषा त्री शतानि । त्री साकमिन्द्रो मनुषः सरांसि सुतं पिबद्वृत्रहत्याय सोमम् ॥
sakhā sakhye apacat tūyam agnir asya kratvā mahiṣā trī śatāni | trī sākam indro manuṣaḥ sarāṃsi sutam pibad vṛtrahatyāya somam ||
English translation:
“To aid (the undertaking of) his friend, Agni, the friend (of Indra) has quickly consumed three hundred buffaloes; and Indra, for the destruction of Vṛtra, has at once quaffed vessels of Soma, offered by Manu.”
