याभि॒: पत्नी॑र्विम॒दाय॑ न्यू॒हथु॒रा घ॑ वा॒ याभि॑ररु॒णीरशि॑क्षतम् । याभि॑: सु॒दास॑ ऊ॒हथु॑: सुदे॒व्यं१॒॑ ताभि॑रू॒ षु ऊ॒तिभि॑रश्वि॒ना ग॑तम् ॥
याभिः पत्नीर्विमदाय न्यूहथुरा घ वा याभिररुणीरशिक्षतम् । याभिः सुदास ऊहथुः सुदेव्यं ताभिरू षु ऊतिभिरश्विना गतम् ॥
yābhiḥ patnīr vimadāya nyūhathur ā gha vā yābhir aruṇīr aśikṣatam | yābhiḥ sudāsa ūhathuḥ sudevyaṃ tābhir ū ṣu ūtibhir aśvinā gatam ||
English translation:
“With those aids by which you gave a wife to Vimada, by which you recovered the ruddy kine, by which you conferred excellent wealth upon Sudās; with them, Aśvins, come willingly hither.”
Commentary by Sāyaṇa: Ṛgveda-bhāṣya
Purumitra's daughter was obtained as a wife for the ṛṣi Vimada;
Sudās: name of a king, son of Pijavana. Paijavana, son of Pijavana is noted (Manu, 8.110)
