तस्माद्विनष्टधर्मं च न पुण्यं मोक्षदायकम् ।
दयां विना हि यो धर्मः स धर्मो विफलायते ॥ ४० ॥

dayāṃ vinā hi yo dharmaḥ sa dharmo viphalāyate || 40 ||
