The Garga-samhita Verse 5.12.22, English translation, including word-by-word: This text represents a Vaishnava scripture which narrates the life Krishna, It was composed in seventeen cantos by Garga Muni: an ancient sage and priest of the Yadu dynasty having. This is verse 5 of Chapter 12 (Pancajana’s Previous Birth) of Canto 5 (mathura-khanda).

Sanskrit text, transliteration and word-by-word meaning:

तेसम् चग्खह् पन्चजन्यह् प्रप्तो रजन् महत्-पदम् पपौ तन्-मुख-लग्नो ऽसौ स्रि-क्र्स्नस्यधरम्र्तम्

tesam cagkhah pancajanyah prapto rajan mahat-padam papau tan-mukha-lagno 'sau sri-krsnasyadharamrtam

tesam—of them; cagkhah—the conch; pa 24cajanyah—Pancajanya; praptah—attained; rajanO king; mahat-padamexalted; papau—drank; tan-mukha-lagnah—touching His lips; asau—he; sri-krsnasyadharamrtam—the nectar of Sri Krsna's lips.

English translation of verse 5.12.22:

O king, among them the conchshell Pancajanya was especially exalted.

Touching His mouth, again and again he would drink the nectar of Lord Krsna's lips.
