The Garga-samhita Verses 5.6.35-36, English translation, including word-by-word: This text represents a Vaishnava scripture which narrates the life Krishna, It was composed in seventeen cantos by Garga Muni: an ancient sage and priest of the Yadu dynasty having. This is verse 5 of Chapter 6 (Seeing Shri Mathura) of Canto 5 (mathura-khanda).

गृहीतु-कामाः श्री-कृष्णं
प्रत्यूचुर् बध्यताम् इति
अथ तान् आगतान् वीक्ष्य
स-शस्त्रान् बल-केशवौ
को-दण्ड-सकले नीत्वा
जघ्नतुर् दुर्मदान् भृशम्
सकलाति-प्रहारेण
केचिद् वीरस् तु मूर्छिताः

gṛhītu-kāmāḥ śrī-kṛṣṇaṃ
pratyūcur badhyatām iti
atha tān āgatān vīkṣya
sa-śastrān bala-keśavau
ko-daṇḍa-sakale nītvā
jaghnatur durmadān bhṛśam
sakalāti-prahāreṇa
kecid vīras tu mūrchitāḥ

gṛhītu-kāmāḥwishing to grab; śrī-kṛṣṇam—Śrī Kṛṣṇa; pratyūcuḥ—said; badhyatām—bind Him; iti—thus; athathen; tān—them; āgatān—come; vīkṣyaseeing; sa-śastrān—with weapons; bala-keśavau—Kṛṣṇa and Balarāma; ko-daṇḍa-sakale—the bow; nītvā—taking; jaghnatuḥ—struck; durmadān—the wicked; bhṛśam—greatly; sakalāti-prahāreṇa—by that blow; kecit—some; vīraḥ—soldiers; tu—indeed; mūrchitāḥ—fell unconscious.

English translation of verses 5.6.35-36:

Eager to grab Kṛṣṇa, the demon soldiers called out, Tie Him up!" Seeing them coming with weapons, Kṛṣṇa and Balarāma took up the bow and struck them so ferociously than many fell unconscious.
