जले चागध-गम्भीरे
महा-वर्त-समाकुले
ददर्श राम-कृष्णौ तौ
वदन्तौ गन्दिनी-सुतः

jale cāgadha-gambhīre
mahā-varta-samākule
dadarśa rāma-kṛṣṇau tau
vadantau gandinī-sutaḥ

jale—in the water; ca—and; agādha-gambhīre——very deep; mahā-varta-samākule—very turbulent; dadarśa—saw; rāmaBalarāma; kṛṣṇau—and Kṛṣṇa; tau—Them; vadantau—speaking; gandinī-sutaḥ—Akrūra.

English translation of verse 5.5.3:

In the deep and turbulent water Akrūra saw Kṛṣṇa and Balarāma conversing.
