विस्मितस् तौ रथे ऽपश्यत्
पुनर् वारि स्थितौ नृप
ददर्श तत्र सर्पेन्द्रं
कुण्डली-भूतम् आस्थितम्
vismitas tau rathe 'paśyat
punar vāri sthitau nṛpa
dadarśa tatra sarpendraṃ
kuṇḍalī-bhūtam āsthitam
vismitaḥ—astonished; tau—Them; rathe—on the chariot; apaśyat—saw; punaḥ—again; vāri—in the water; sthitau—standing; nṛpa—O king; dadarśa—saw; tatra—there; sarpendram—the king of snakes; kuṇḍalī-bhūtam—coiled-up; āsthitam—situated.
English translation of verse 5.5.4:
